Student counsellors are there for students requiring advice and information of a more complex nature. Either you will be referred to a Student counsellor (for example by the Central Student Service Desk, or a Study adviser), or you can contact us on your own initiative. Consultations with Student counsellors are free of charge.
If you have a quick query or urgent matter, you can call a Student counsellor, Tuesday to Friday from 09:00-10:00, +31 (0)20 525 1401. If you cannot call between 09:00 and 10:00, you can call our colleagues of the Central Student Service Desk. They will refer your question to the relevant student counsellor.
From 17 August to 30 September 2020, daily from 13:00-14:00, we have a temporary extra telephone consultation hour to request facilities for exams or education, for students with a disability, a (chronic) illness or other medical circumstances. Call: +31 (0)20 525 1401; dial a 5 to be connected to the student counsellor. Please note: this telephone consultation hour is not for the request of facilities when you have dyslexia; for that, you can visit our website about dyslexia.
The conversations will mainly take place via video or regular calling. We have also started with a limited number of physical consultation hours at the Roeterseiland Campus (REC). If you want to make use of this option, you can make an appointment via the button below. You can also call us during our telephone consultation hours.
