It can be difficult to identify your own qualities. On this page, you will learn how other people can help you learn more about yourself.

What is your study programme?

Sometimes, the people around you can see more clearly than you what you enjoy doing and what you like to talk about. That is why it can be useful to ask others what they value about you via a 360° feedback exercise

360° feedback from people around you

Pick five to seven people who know you from a variety of roles (work, personal life, social circle, etc.). Ask them to answer the following questions about you in writing and ask them to be honest.

  • What is my greatest ‘talent’? How have you seen me demonstrate it?
  • What are my interests? What do I talk about a lot?
  • What knowledge and skills do you value most?
  • How do I tend to handle things?
  • What am I like in a group?
  • Are there any areas for improvement (in my interaction with others) that I could target?
  • In what ways do you feel I could grow?
  • What specific activities/line of work do you see me doing in the future?
  • Is there anything else you want to tell me?

You should not expect everyone to respond immediately. Give your friends and acquaintances time to answer the questions
