What is your study programme?

Lid zijn van een studentenraad of opleidingscommissie vergt soms zoveel tijd dat je studievertraging oploopt. De bestuursbeurs is bedoeld als tegemoetkoming hiervoor.

Being on a student council or programme committee can sometimes take up so much of your time that you incur a study completion delay. The aim of the Administrative Body Membership Grant is to compensate you for situations like this.

Individual requirements

Besides being a member of a student council or programme committee, you must also meet the following requirements

  • You must be registered as a full-time student at the UvA during the administrative year.: you must have been registered as a full-time student at the UvA in the academic year preceding the administrative year. This requirement does not apply to members of the programme committee. However, all first-year students who are members of a programme committee must meet the BSA requirement.
  • You must not already have received the maximum number of (grant) months for an Administrative Body Membership Grant while enrolled at the UvA.
  • You are or have been entitled to a study grant from DUO (this requirement will not apply to international students).

Reimbursement

You will usually receive €300 per (grant) month allocated. For any deviations from this amount, see the Profiling Fund Regulations 2021External link

Deadline to apply

As a member of the Central Student Council or a faculty student council, you must submit your grant application individually between 1 September and 1 November (at the latest), at the beginning of the academic year in which you are a member of the council.
