Opening hours and crowding indicators

Especially during exam time, it is important knowing in advance which location is the least crowded or checking whether there is enough space at your favorite study space. The Library has crowding indicators, which provides a live display of the occupancy of all rooms with study spaces.

See the study spaces page for opening hoursExternal link and crowding indicators and keep an eye on the information screens on campus for the extra study spaces.

Those looking for a special study spot can visit the Posthoornkerk from Friday 26 to Tuesday 30 May. From 09:00 - 19:00, 95 study spots are available. There is free coffee, tea and wifi.

Reservations are required: Book a study spotExternal link.

Online Study Space during the exam period

Achieve your optimal focus during the guided study sessions of the Online Study Space. The collaborative study sessions, called Study-SOS, take place from 10:00 to 22:00 under the guidance of a student host. The sessions are both physical in the University Library Singel and online.

The host provides a distraction-free environment in which you will work on your goals in a focused way. Each session includes planning, studying, reflecting and pausing with a view to your well-being during this stressful period. You will also get help with finding sources, citations and academic writing.
