Personal teacher's assistant
The personal teacher’s assistant project (in Dutch: Persoonlijk Assistent van de Leraar - PAL), initiated by the UvA and the VU, gives you the opportunity to gain teaching skills while exploring whether a career in teaching would suit you. You'll work in a secondary school and carry out a wide range of duties (exact duties will be identified in advance with the school and your designated teacher). You'll work about 8 hours a week and earn a minimum of €11 per hour.
