Amsterdam Law Practice
As a Master's student, you're taking the final steps towards the beginning of your legal career. To optimally prepare for this step, it is important to think about what it means to exercise your role as a legal professional. The experiential education programme of the Amsterdam Law School, Amsterdam Law Practice, offers a unique opportunity to do so.
Our experiential learning program: the Amsterdam Law Practice
The courses will challenge you to apply your academic knowledge and skills by taking on various roles, such as the role of a lawyer, legal advisor or judge. At the same time, you will be given tools to reflect on what it means to perform that role. You learn by doing, become more aware of your role as a professional and discover which aspects of legal work suit you best. For the innovative character of its education, the Amsterdam Law Practice received a Dutch Higher Education Award in 2022.
