This group is intended for students that experience high levels of stress during studying.
This training will help you deal with stress, fear of failure, perfectionism, worry and low self-esteem. You will work on becoming more aware of what your triggers of stress are and you will learn and experience how slowing down (mindfulness) actually helps you to recover from stress.
You will also work on creating a more healthy motivation and learn to study in a more efficient way. This can help you enjoy the study process more.
The next step will be learning to take better care of yourself by taming your inner critic and cultivating a compassionate mind. We will use techniques from Compassionate Mind Training to help you balance your mind, body and actions.
This training will be offered six times in 2019-2020:
Each training consists of 7-8 meetings.
International students that experience high levels of stress during studying. If there are spots available, a number of Dutch students can participate as well.
