Log in for your personal dashboard
Did you know that student.uva.nl shows different information depending on which study programme you select? By logging in, your study programme will be selected automatically. This ensures you see complete and accurate information that’s relevant to your studies.
Get push notifications about timetable changes
When you log in, you’ll also see a dashboard with your timetable and study results. To get updates about a recent mark or last-minute timetable change, enable push notifications in your profile: student.uva.nl/profile or in the app.
Essential apps and practical information
The student website gives you direct access to essential apps like SIS and Canvas, and to a wide range of other topics:
- instructions for Wi-Fi and email

Ask questions using the chat feature
Have a question but don’t know who to ask? On student.uva.nl, you can ask all your questions using the ‘Ask a question’ button. You will then receive a response via the chat, or – if that’s not available – via email as soon as possible.
