What is your study programme?

The Faculty of Humanities annually awards an Education Award to a course that is innovative or uses teaching methods that inspire others.

Six courses have been nominated for the Education Award, namely:

  • Authors in Focus: Renaissance Women Writers - Kristine Johanson and Anna-Rose Shack
  • Critical Programming and Co-Creation. The Futures of Culture and its Institutions - Margriet Schavemaker
  • Islamic Esotericism and its Medieval Legacies - Liana Saif
  • Literature, landscape and ecology - Gaston Franssen, Marrigje Paijmans and Feike Dietz
  • Modern Yiddish Language Acquisition - Daniella Zaidman-Mauer
  • Sex/Race/Trans: Human Life-Forms - Diego Semerene

Apart from the chance to win the Education Award, the course also stand a chance to win an Audience Award. The teachers of the nominated courses explain in a video why they deserve the prize.
