Your UvA account grants you access to Office. This includes for instance Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and more apps.

What is your study programme?

Office 

Office forms a part of Microsoft 365. With your UvAnetID you are able to download and install the various apps Office has to offer. This includes the latest versions of  for instance Word, Excel and PowerPoint on up to 5 computers and 5 mobile devices. The software is both Windows and Mac compatible.

The software is also accessible on the computers available at study places.

Setting up

  1. Set up two-step verification
  2. Go to microsoft365.comExternal link and log in with your UvAnetID
  3. Click on Install Apps at the top right
  4. Choose Microsoft 365
  5. Follow the instructions on your screen. 

Setting up mobile devices

Mobile versions of Office apps can be downloaded and installed from the App Store or Google Play Store for iOS and Android respectively. To find out more, visit Microsoft’s support pageExternal link.
