Lost or stolen student ID cards

If you lose your student ID card or it has been stolen, you will need to block your card and apply for a new one.

Blocking your student ID card

You can block your student ID card through mijnuvapas.nlExternal link or at REC B/C/D and the Library counter. Make sure to do so as quickly as possible.

Applying for a replacement student ID card

You can apply for a replacement student ID card at mijnuvapas.nlExternal link. A new student ID card costs €15 (covering production, administration and postage costs). The credit on your old student ID card (assuming this has not already been withdrawn) will automatically be loaded onto your new card.

My student ID card was stolen Present your police report or Statement of Loss of your municipality at one of the service points or email Facility Services to apply for a replacement card free of charge. The credit on your old student ID card (assuming this has not already been withdrawn) will automatically be loaded onto your new card. We will send you an email to let you know when you can pick up your new student ID card. On average, you will receive your card within five working days of your application.

I found my card again

If you find your card again, you can have it unblocked by calling or sending an email to the Facility Services Service Desk.
