What is your study programme?
- Apply for your student ID cardTo study at the UvA, you'll need to apply for a student ID card. Use the card to identify yourself, borrow library books, access bicycle parking and parking garages, and pay for things.
- Activate your student ID cardOnce you have received your student ID card, you will need to activate it online before you can use any of its functions.
- Paying with your student ID cardYou can use the credit on your student ID card to pay at all UvA canteens, library counters and vending machines. (At the coffee and candy machines, you pay with your bank card.)
- Lost or stolen student ID cardsIf you lose your student ID card or it has been stolen, you will need to block your card and apply for a new one.
- Return your student ID cardOnce you have terminated your enrolment, your student ID card will no longer be valid and must be turned in.
- Having the credit on your student ID card refundedWould you like to have the credit on your student ID transferred back to your account, for example because you have stopped studying at the UvA? No problem.
