The study investigated how personality traits influence the ability to override habitual behaviour in favor of goal-directed action via cognitive flexibility and piloted an adapted. Pavlovian-Instrumental Transfer (PIT) task.  The findings highlighted the important role of task design in detecting individual differences in behavioural regulation, providing valuable directions for future research.
