Do you want structure and inspiration while writing your thesis? The Library organises thesis sessions every Monday starting 3 February, both online and in person. From 11:00 to 18:00, we structure the day using the Pomodoro method, allowing you to work productively and with focus. In this motivating environment, you'll work alongside fellow students and receive support from experts.

Writing a thesis is a process that involves several phases, each with its own challenges and key focus areas.

In the initial phase, the emphasis is on efficiently searching for, finding, and using sources, a crucial foundation for a well-supported thesis. In later phases, the focus shifts to the writing process itself, with practical workshops and guidance to help you complete your thesis with satisfaction.

Focus by period:

  • February–March: Learn how to efficiently search for, find, and use sources. Gain insights into collecting search terms and using citation tools like Zotero or Mendeley.
  • April–May–June: Keep writing and finish your thesis with confidence. Attend mini-workshops during the sessions on planning, free writing, creating a strong storyline, and fine-tuning your work.

What Can You Expect?

  • Peer-to-Peer Support: Stay motivated by working alongside other students in a structured environment. There’s also space to share your highs and lows, so you can find support and understanding from your peers.
  • Expert Guidance: Each session has a theme tailored to the specific phase of the thesis process. Experts such as information specialists, thesis coaches, and writing tutors from the Writing Center will be available during the sessions for advice and questions.
