Do you feel a bit lost in the sea of search results on Google Scholar? Or are you struggling to progress in your research because you can’t find the right sources? In this workshop, you will learn how to search efficiently and discover tools such as CatalogusPlus, Scopus, and Web of Science.

We will show you how to access books that are not directly available and how to find and use the most relevant databases for your studies, such as Anthropology Plus, PsycInfo, and SocIndex. After this workshop, you will be able to confidently find sources that align with your research and assignments.

After successfully completing this module, you will be able to:

  • Effectively search for and select information from various sources;
  • Apply specific search strategies in different databases;
  • Ethically engage with information sources and critically evaluate them.

There is also space to receive support in searching for information related to your specific topic.
