On Monday, 7 April, we will hold a memorial for Shengmen. This will take place in private, specifically for students and staff from his degree programme: the Master’s in Logic. We kindly ask everyone to respect this decision.

For those who would like to commemorate Shengmen in their own way, there will be both an online and physical book of condolence. These will offer a space to share personal messages or memories. We are also working on a written tribute, which is being prepared with great care and in consultation with his family. We will share more information about this after the weekend.

We recognise that this loss evokes many emotions within the different communities at our university. It is important to keep talking to one another about this.
