Student.uva.nl is the essential website for all UvA students, where you can find all the information you'll need during your studies. Here you can easily look up your timetable and study results, check all the latest news and find an overview of events you don’t want to miss out on.

Dashboard with timetable, study results, news and events

After logging into student.uva.nl, you will see a clearly arranged dashboard that enables you to check your timetable and study results at a glance. This gives you immediate insight into your academic progress. The home page also shows the latest news about your studies and the UvA, to keep you up to date on the latest developments at the university.

Suffering from FOMO? Don’t worry. The home page also provides an overview of all interesting events, from workshops on coping with stress to UvA events and sports activities. If you regularly check this, you will never miss out on anything.

All the information you need

You can find all the information you need as a student on student.uva.nl. From instructions for using Wi-Fi to the opening hours of our campus locations, and from the contact details of your study adviser to tips on living in Amsterdam. And that's not all. Student.uva.nl also gives you direct access to essential apps, such as your webmail, course registration and Canvas, for all your course materials and assignments.

Ask questions using chat

If you have a question and you don’t know who you can turn to, you can always ask it via chat on student.uva.nl (the button 'Ask a question'). During office hours, you will get a reply to your question within a few minutes. Outside office hours, you will get a reply the next working day.

If you know who you can turn to, but don’t know the contact details, you can look it up on the website. On the Contact page you'll find a clear overview of the contact details of all student counsellors, student psychologists, study advisers and confidential advisers, the Education Desk and more.

Push notifications about your latest marks and timetable changes

Have you ever found yourself staring at the screen, constantly pressing F5 until your latest mark was finally displayed? Or found yourself in front of a closed door because you had missed out on a timetable change? You can avoid that by activating push notifications on your phone and/or laptop. You will then be notified about your latest study results and last-minute timetable changes on your phone or laptop. Go to student.uva.nl/profile to activate push notifications.
