Chiara participated in the Cultural Exchange Ambassador Programme in semester 2, 2026. She is a Natural and Social Sciences student at the UvA, and participated in the NICE summer school in Edinburgh in 2025.

The Cultural Exchange Ambassadors Programme is one of the most exciting programmes I have participated in at the UvA! The experience has taught me how to reflect on cultural differences within a team and how to deal with the challenges that these differences bring. I appreciated that we developed valuable communication and self-reflection skills through fun and interactive workshops. I applied to the programme to meet new students and to network, which there were plenty of opportunities to do so throughout the course. What I valued most was that I got to work together with students from different fields of study and cultures, and that we were able to form friendships through the memorable shared activities.
