Your student days can be a taxing time. The pace of your studies is unrelenting. In addition, you may have a part-time job and you are trying to maintain a social life, often in a city that is still unfamiliar. Moreover, the coronavirus crisis meant that there was little contact with fellow students and you were forced to stay home. Could you use a bit of support as a student? If so, Siggie would be happy to help you!
You can turn to Siggie for personal online coaching and you will learn how you can handle the challenges you are facing. Are you dealing with study pressure, stress, tension, worry, low self-confidence, loneliness, gloominess, fear of failure and/or social anxiety? We’re there for you! During our sessions, we’ll look together for appropriate solutions and ways in which you can use your talents to increase your resilience.
Coaching via Siggie is available to all students from the Faculty of Humanities.
Only your time and commitment. Coaching from Siggie is reimbursed by the UvA for all Faculty of Humanities students. Siggie is an independent party; your personal information will not be shared with the University.
The coaching process with your professional Siggie student coach will consist of five online video sessions, spread over approximately 10 weeks. In addition, we will make use of various e-health modules, which you can use to get to work at your own convenience.
The methods that we use for this are a combination of traditional psychology and modern psychology, and are based on the latest scientific developments. As coaches, we not only listen to what you say, but we also ask questions that you may not have dared ask yourself yet. In addition, we do more than just discussing the challenges that you are encountering: we also identify your personal talents and qualities.
