What is your study programme?
  • Assessment of your grade point averageGrading schemes differ between countries. You therefore receive an overview of the Dutch marks and their foreign equivalents with your degree certificate as a matter of course.
  • Cum LaudeIf you have performed outstandingly, you can be given, for example, the classification ‘cum laude’ ('with distinction'). The Examinations Board sets the conditions for special annotations.
  • Plagiarism and Fraud The UvA deals forcefully with plagiarism. Students who have committed serious fraud may have their enrolment terminated and be no longer allowed to finish their study programme.
