  • UvA emergency number In the event of an emergency, call the UvA’s Central Control Room on the central emergency number: +31 (0)20 525 2222.
  • Amsterdam UMC emergency numbersAmsterdam UMC (AMC location) has two emergency numbers. For resuscitation (CPR) call +31 (0)20 444 2222. For other emergencies call +31 (0)20 444 8888
  • First aidIf you need first aid at the UvA, call the emergency number +31 (0)20 525 2222 or report to the porter in the building.
  • Company Emergency Response (CER) team Safety facilities are present in all UvA buildings. The Company Emergency Response (CER) officers frequently have training sessions and drills.
  • Extra assistance to get out of the building in an emergencyCall the FS Service Desk at +31 (0)20 525 1403 if you need assistance to get out of the building.
  • Reception deskAt the reception desk you can report incidents, request access to parking facilities and hand in found items.
  • Safety and security at the UvA The Central Control Room and Facility Services are responsible for managing safety and security at the UvA.

Facility Services arranges various facilities on campus. For example, you can go there for questions about the student card, reserving rooms or facilities related to events.
