Aya participated in the Cultural Exchange Ambassador Programme in semester 2, 2026. She is a Political Science student at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Rabat, Morocco and spent an exchange semester at the UvA, where she studied Liberal Arts & Sciences at Amsterdam University College (AUC).

My participation in the Cultural Exchange Ambassador Programme was one of the highlights of my exchange semester. It made my exchange feel much bigger than just living in Amsterdam, it became an opportunity to connect with people from all over the world. The conversations we shared about culture, education, traditions, and everyday life were incredibly eye-opening. I was often surprised not only by our differences, but also by how much Morocco had in common with other countries on the other side of the world. The program broadened my perspective, strengthened my intercultural skills, and gave me a supportive community when everything still felt new.
