Each year in November, the UvA organises the 'UvA Study Abroad Month' where you can find out more about the possibilities to study abroad during your study programme.

The UvA Study Abroad Month will take place again from Monday, 16 to Friday, 27 November 2026.

Explore, learn, grow. Step into the world of study abroad!
- Explore other possibilities to spend your time abroad, for instance by: doing an internship, visiting a student conference, participating in an international team to solve global challenges, or applying for a Summer School.
- Sign up for the speeddate sessions, and meet students who had a life-changing experience abroad.
- Learn about exchange opportunities at the UvA’s partner universities by joining one of our information sessions.
- Grow your international network by meeting students who have (just) returned from their study abroad and connect with with ESN and AIESEC; two student-run organisations that can help you with your orientation.
Location
The UvA Study Abroad Month will take place at the Roeterseiland campus (REC), Oudemanhuispoort (OMHP), and Science Park.
