Traineeship: Pan-European Seal programme

The Pan-European Seal traineeship, a partnership between European universities and institutions, allows you to work at the European Patent Office (EPO) in Munich or the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in Alicante. 

This paid traineeship is an opportunity to gain professional experience in European intellectual property. You'll work full-time for 1 year at EUIPO or EPO, working in an international team and developing skills that are directly relevant for an international career.

Starting dates

The next starting dates are 15 September 2026 (EPO) and 16 September 2026 (EUIPO).

Admission requirements

You can apply if you:

• are graduating this academic year
• are a national of one of the EU member states
• have excellent knowledge of English, French or German
