Lactation rooms

We have several lactation rooms on the Roeterseiland Campus:

• E0.17 
• A8.61
• M3.28
• P-1.33 (basement)

To access lactation room E0.17, you can get a temporary pass from the porter of building E (in front of room E0.17). You can just hand in the pass again when you're done. Please note that this room is also used as a first aid room. First aid always has priority, so there is a small chance you could be interrupted. We've placed a divider in the room to make sure you have privacy in case someone opens the door. 

To use lactation rooms A8.61, M3.28 and P-1.33, send an email to h.nijman@uva.nlExternal link and the right to access will be added to your pass. 

Privacy button

The lactation rooms A8.61, M3.28 and P-1.33 are equipped with a special privacy button. You can use this to lock the door from the inside so that it cannot be opened from the outside - not even by staff with a valid pass. Only a few employees with special rights on their pass (invigilators, porters, emergency response personnel) can open the room when the privacy button has been pressed.

Room 3.02A  (electronic lock, ask permission via the health and safety officer).

OMHP

Ground floor, A 0.12. You can collect the key from the portier.

Spinhuis

Mezzanine ground floor and 1st, room T.01.

P.C. Hoofthuis

Room 079C. You can pick up the key at the reception.

Bushuis

Room F1.01A. You can request access rights via the health and safety officer.

UB Singel

Ground floor, room B0.11A. You can collect the key to the room at the reception of the UB building. There is a refrigerator in the room where expressed milk can be stored, and a sink with running water.

Rooms:

• C3.216a: This room has a chair, fridge, sink and a table.
• C4.220a: This room has a chair, fridge, sink and a table.
• G0.29: This room has a chair, a camp bed and a cupboard. This room is also used as a rest room for people with a disability. 

All lactation rooms are equipped with electronic access locks. You can request access by sending an e-mail to: gam-science@uva.nlExternal link.
