The FSR FGw comprises 12 members who represent the interests of students at the faculty and exercise the right of consent and the right to be consulted about matters such as the Teaching and Examination Regulations, the establishment or discontinuation of study programmes, and the Honours programme. As a council assistant, you will support the elected student council members when dealing with substantial files and will participate in meetings. Your tasks will take about 15 to 20 hours per week. As you have not been elected by students, you will not have the right to vote on decisions of the FSR FGw.

As a council assistant, you will not be appointed as an employee of the Faculty of Humanities. You will receive a monthly fee ('onkostenvergoeding') and might qualify for a partial board grant from the Student Support Fund.
