On 18 March, Amsterdam citizens are heading to the polls for the municipal elections. But what choices do students really have? And is enough attention paid to student voters in our capital city? Or will students continue to foot the bill for problems surrounding housing, safety and facilities in the city?

Are you still wondering who to vote for, even after using an online tool like VoteMatch (Stemwijzer)? Then come to the Amsterdam Student Debate on 2 March at VU University Amsterdam and find out what political parties in Amsterdam plan to do for students. 

Parool political reporter Tim Wagemakers, together with student Anne Bruggink, will make sure politicians answer your questions! Mariken van der Velden, an in political communication, will also tell you what to look out for during the debate, so that you don't just hear fine words but also know whether they'll be translated into future action.

Let your voice be heard

From 17:30 to 19:00, GroenLinks, PvdA, VVD, PvdD, JA21, D66, Volt, SP and DENK will debate the propositions put forward by student organisations. Ask your questions, join the discussion and make your voice heard. Continue talking and debating afterwards during the drinks event.
