About the program

The program is intended for UvA students who: 

• wish to conduct research in a country in the Middle East or North Africa (MENA region)
•  need to stay there for a period of time to do so
•  are conducting this research as part of their studies at the UvA 

This support is designed to supplement the existing travel grant opportunities offered by both the UvA Fund and the Lutfia Rabbani Foundation.

Submiting an application

You must submit your application through both organizations. Please visit:

To do so, follow the standard travel grant guidelines of both organizations: Check the guidelines for both organizations to ensure you meet the eligibility requirements and understand which documents you need to submit (e.g., research proposal, statement of purpose, budget).
