Writing your thesis can sometimes be a lonely process, but it doesn't have to be! Starting from 9 February, the Library offers thesis sessions every Monday from 11:00 to 18:00 where you can come with all your questions. Our student-hosts will be happy to help you collect sources, formulate your research question and structure your work.

Participate

You can participate online from home via Teams, or be physically present in the Focus Room on the Roeterseiland campus (REC H) or in LAB42 on Science Park. Working together with others who are also writing their thesis will give you focus and new insights.

Each session has a theme that matches the phase of your thesis. In the beginning of the semester, for example, the focus is on planning, while towards the end you will get support in editing your text. From 30 March, a Scientific Writing tutor will also give a weekly writing workshop, and information specialists from the Library will regularly join in to help you further.

AD(H)D friendly study sessions

Besides the thesis sessions, the regular AD(H)D-friendly study sessions will continue: every Tuesday to Thursday from 13:00 to 18:00 in room H0.04 on Roeterseiland and online via Teams. By studying in a guided group, you not only increase your knowledge and skills, but also your self-confidence.
