Grassroots Science4all subsidy June 2026 for diversity, inclusion and equality
Your project is directly aimed at strengthening DIG within the Faculty of Science!
Grassroots Science4all: What does it entail?
Activities for which you can apply for a subsidy are, for example: a symposium with various speakers, cultural or social activities, PR material or a project with secondary school students with a direct relationship with the Faculty of Science. Some examples of proposals that have previously received funding:
- ALTAIR+: volunteers introduce students from the vicinity of the Science Park to the STEM domain and the faculty.
- Purple Friday: the study associations of the Faculty of Science organize activities at the faculty as part of Purple Friday.
So there are various possibilities. Surprise us! By the way, the FDO assistant can support you in implementing your proposal.
The proposals will be assessed on the extent to which they contribute to one or more of the following criteria:
- Contribution not only relevant for the group involved, but also for the wider Faculty of Science community.
- Contribution to visibility and representation of specific groups of employees and/or students of the Faculty of Science.
- Contribution to a broader awareness about diversity and inclusion within the Faculty of Science community. It is an advantage if the contribution has a future-proof impact within the Faculty of Science.
Your proposal will be assessed by the Grassroots committee, which consists of:
- Dean of the Faculty of Science, Susan te Pas
- Diversity officer FNWI, Boy Menist
- Student nominated by the FSC
The committee is looking forward to your inspiring ideas with which we can contribute together to a diverse and inclusive faculty.
