Easy! Grab a healthy snack or meal at the University Library – the Wonderbot

Fresh and sustainable meals
From sticky tempeh to low-sugar chocolate brownies, Wonderbot’s chefs prepare meals and snacks using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients from the Netherlands. Every meal is balanced, with proteins, carbohydrates, healthy fats, vegetables and fruit. Snacks are made with protein-rich flour, unsaturated fats, natural sweeteners and without ultra-processed additives. You can also get a range of raw kombuchas from DeGrow Lab, with flavours such as Orange Hibiscus. The kombucha is raw, which means it has not been heated and therefore the naturally occurring pre- and probiotics from the fermentation process are preserved.

Circular packaging: zero waste
All meals and snacks are served in reusable glass jars, which you can return to the machine after use.

Official introduction and mission
During last week’s introduction at the University Library, the Wonderbot was presented by founder and head chef Alexandra Jenkins. She explained the mission behind the concept: making healthy and sustainable food accessible to everyone, without compromising on taste, quality or affordability.
“We believe in a world where everyone has access to healthy food, farmers are paid fairly and our way of working is regenerative. A world where the food industry nourishes people and planet instead of depleting them. And we are here to prove that it is possible.”
— Alexandra Jenkins, founder and head chef, Wonderbot
