Dashboard with schedule, academic results, news, and events

After logging in to student.uva.nl, you’ll see a clear dashboard with your schedule and your academic results. It’s a convenient way to check your academic progress at a glance. You’ll also see the latest news about your program and the UvA on the homepage. This way, you’ll always be up to date on what’s happening at the university.

Struggling with FOMO? In the events overview, you’ll find all the interesting events, such as workshops on managing stress, UvA events, and sports activities. That way, you won’t have to worry about missing out on anything.

All the information you need

You can find all the information you need as a student on student.uva.nl. From instructions for using Wi-Fi to the opening hours of our campus locations, and from the contact details of your study adviser to tips on living in Amsterdam. And that is not all. Student.uva.nl also gives you direct access to essential apps, such as your webmail, course registration and Canvas, for all your course materials and assignments.

Ask a question

On student.uva.nl, you can ask any questions you have by clicking the “Ask a question” button. You’ll receive a response from a staff member via chat, or—if they’re not immediately available—via email.

Do you know who your question is for but need their contact information? Under “topics -> contact,” you’ll find a clear overview with contact information for all student counselors, student psychologists, academic advisors, confidential advisors, the academic services desk, and more.

Receive push notifications about schedule changes

When you log in, you’ll see your grades and your schedule. But if you want to know right away what grade you received, turn on push notifications at student.uva.nl/profiel and in the app. That way, you’ll receive notifications about your latest grades and last-minute schedule changes.
