More support for reporting inappropriate behaviour or breaches of integrity
Support if you are accused of undesirable behaviour
The UvA now has dedicated confidential advisers who provide support to students and staff who have been accused of undesirable behaviour. These confidential advisers can help you navigate the situation and explain the process involved.
Support if you suspect a breach of integrity
Do you suspect a breach of integrity (such as theft, bribery, abuse of power, or self-enrichment through fraud)? You can contact the confidential advisers for inappropriate behaviour and integrity, the Ombudsperson, or the Reporting Point for Social Safety and Integrity.
Do you suspect fraud, plagiarism, or another violation of academic integrity? Raise your concerns at an early stage. You can contact one of the confidential advisers for academic integrity.
Changes to whistleblowing procedures
If you suspect a wrongdoing within the UvA, you can report it (whistleblowing). The Whistleblowers' Regulations have been amended in several respects. The new regulations are available on this page. Here you can read what constitutes a wrongdoing, how to report it, what support is available, and how you are protected.
