Light up the holidays this year with a donation
For the past eight years, the UvA has been committed to Voedselbank Amsterdam, an organization that distributes food packages to over 13,000 people living in Noord-Holland and Flevoland. Over 4,400 of those receiving help live right here in Amsterdam.
Individuals who receive food from Voedselbank Amsterdam do not have the financial means to buy sufficient food for themselves and their families. For example, a family with two children who have a monthly budget of less than €685 to provide the whole family with both food and clothing can register for help from Voedselbank. Voedselbank Amsterdam is run entirely by volunteers and is dependent on donations to buy and distribute food.
In past years, UvA has been proud to help Voedselbank Amsterdam with monetary donations – let’s do so again this year! Will you help us to break our record of €6,690? Use the links below to donate – all proceeds go directly to Voedselbank Amsterdam!
