With the closure of the University Library at Singel, it’s good to know that sufficient alternatives are available. The Library remains open across several campuses, with Roeterseiland offering quiet and spacious study areas during the summer. For students who live closer by, Science Park is an excellent alternative. Additionally, the P.C. Hoofthuis in the University Quarter remains an option: on the ground floor, you’ll find the Library Learning Space with 127 study spaces.

More than five kilometers of bookshelves will be available there.
During the summer, you can pick up and return requested materials at other library locations. This also applies to external borrowers. When you place a request via CataloguePlusExternal link, you will see where you can collect the materials.
