To become a council member, you have to join an existing student party or set up a new (one-man) party yourself. You can do this until 11 April at the latest. Please note that some parties have an earlier deadline. In May, during election week, all faculty students can vote for their favourite candidate. At the FNWI, two parties are currently active in the council: LiefExternal link, Activist Party UvAExternal link, InterExternal link, and UvA SocialExternal link.
