The FdR Diversity Committee is chaired by the Diversity Officer of the Amsterdam Law School, Claudia Santana. The Committee will work in close cooperation with the Dean, the Faculty Board, the Student and Works Council and other academic and support staff members and students of the Amsterdam Law School.

Activities include:

• Participating in meetings of the diversity committee twice per month;
• Engaging with the implementation of the action plan (pdf);
• Taking initiatives for other actions to support an E, D & I culture within the faculty,
• Advising on new evidence-based E, D & I actions;
• Contributing to the continual progression of E, D & I policy and initiatives based on feedback from trends and best practices;

Profile

• You're studying at the Amsterdam Law School
• You have awareness of issues regarding EDI
• You're able to work with people at different levels of an organisation
• You enjoy taking on projects and are motivated to implement initiatives that contribute to EDI matters
• You are, or aspire to be, well-connected with fellow students of the Amsterdam Law School

Position

The vacancy is for Amsterdam Law School students only. Student members of the Committee will be offered an appointment for a period of 2 years (depending on your study duration) with the possibility of immediate prolongation. This position is compensated, and the expected commitment is 50 hours per year.
