Why this tasting?
A customer satisfaction survey among UvA staff and students showed that the vending machine coffee scored satisfactory, but no higher than a 6. Naturally, we won't settle for that. We can do better! That is why we are going to optimise the coffee, and you will help us choose the best taste.
Two beans, one goal: tasty and sustainable
Together, we drink over 5 million cups of vending machine coffee a year. That's why we choose not only a tasty coffee, but also a sustainable and responsibly produced variety. During the tasting session, you test two beans from Ethiopia. Both beans are roasted and packed in the country of origin.
- BLENDSTAR Single Origin - our current bean, now with an improved flavour profile and additional local impact.
- BLENDSTAR Premium - a Rainforest Alliance-certified premium coffee.
