The FNV is organising these actions in response to the expiration of an ultimatum regarding adjustments to house rules and collaboration with external organisationsExternal link. According to the FNV, the strikes will be peaceful in nature.

On Monday and Thursday, actions will take place at the Roeterseiland Campus (REC), on Tuesday at the Oudemanhuispoort, and on Wednesday at Science Park. A demonstration and march have been announced for Thursday afternoon at the REC.

The actions are expected to cause some disruption. The FNV, as the organiser, has established a stewarding service. The UvA will monitor the situation throughout the week and deploy additional staff to ensure everything runs smoothly.
