Participation platform Denk Mee renewed

Participation platform Denk Mee renewed

Published on 24-04-2024
To involve students and staff in new UvA policies, the participation platform Denk Mee (Think Along) was launched in 2017. This year, the platform has been completely renewed, and the first policy document has been published: you are invited to respond to the proposed intensification actions of the sustainability white paper.

How does Denk Mee work?

During the policy development process, the draft policy is posted on Denk Mee. This always happens before it is finalised. After the response period, responses are reviewed and considered with the aim of improving and refining the policy. It is possible to read about completed projects to see what happened with the responses and how the policy was refined.

How can you respond?

To respond to a policy document, go to denkmee.uva.nl and log in with your UvAnetID. If you do not have a UvAnetID because you work or study at Amsterdam UMC, ACTA, or AUAS, you can create an account. On Denk Mee, you will find all projects under 'current projects' where you can respond. You will be invited to new projects where you can respond through the newsletter.

Think Along about intensification of the sustainability white paper

Sustainability is one of the most pressing social issues facing the University of Amsterdam. To structurally implement sustainability in education, research and operations, and to increase the UvA’s contribution to social sustainability, the Executive Board adopted the Sustainability White Paper in 2021.

In 2023, the decision was made to intensify and accelerate UvA's sustainability policy. Currently, it is possible to respond on Denk Mee to the proposed intensification actions.
