On Monday, 25 November, at 13:00, a demonstration against budget cuts in higher education will take place at the Malieveld in The Hague. The UvA supports your participation. Come and make your voice heard!

Space to participate

  • Would you like to join the protest? You’re most welcome to do so. There’s no attendance requirement on 25 November, except for patient care and mandatory practicals that cannot be rescheduled or made up.
  • Scheduled exams will go ahead as planned.
  • Catching up on missed lessons is your own responsibility.
  • The UvA will not reimburse travel expenses and is not obliged to facilitate transport to The Hague.
  • Practicals and clinical practice at the faculties of Science, Medicine, and the Psychology Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes will continue as planned and cannot be made up, unless your programme decides otherwise. Keep an eye on Canvas for updates.
