What is your study programme?

Are you a student at the Faculty of Science, a critical thinker, flexible and interested in contributing something to policy within your faculty? Then the student council is for you!

As a council member, you consult with the dean on faculty policy on behalf of the students of the faculty. Read more about what the student council does.

In addition, there are many other benefits for you as a council member, such as:

  • a letter of recommendation from the dean;
  • board experience;
  • lots of fun outings;
  • an extensive network;
  • a coffee pass;
  • fun (free) council weekends.
  • a board scholarship;
  • a nice addition to your CV!

How do I join the council?

You must join an existing student party or form a new (one-man) party. You can do this until 10 April at the latest. Please note that some parties have an earlier deadline. In May, during election week, all students of the faculty can vote for their favorite candidate. At the Faculty of Science, two parties are currently active in the council: LiefExternal link and SLAAFSExternal link.
