The student assessor builds a bridge between the students and the board. 'My main role as a student assessor is to represent the interests of students. For example, I attend meetings with the dean and the directors of education, where policy is discussed and decisions are made that may affect students.'
'My job is to be well informed. I do this, among other things, by reading policy documents and by giving my opinion from a student perspective. Because I am a student myself, I hear and see what is going on. I ensure that this is taken into account in the decision making process. I also have close contact with the EB Faculty Student Council, and with other student assessors.'
'I applied for this position because, in addition to my studies, I like to dedicate myself to my fellow students and education. I find it very interesting to think along about policy making at EB in the interest of the student.'
'Themes that are not necessarily directly related to education, but are important preconditions for studying and study success are important to me. Think of topics such as internationalisation and social safety. I hope to make a positive contribution to this in my role.'
