The number of first-year students in the Bachelor's programmes rose by 4.8%. The number of new Bachelor's students from the Netherlands has increased, and the international growth is stronger.
The majority of new Bachelor's students from the EEA (EU countries and also Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) come from Germany, followed by Poland and Italy. Outside the EEA, most of the first-year students come from China, India and Turkey.
This year, there are 6,448 new students in the Master's programmes. This is 398 fewer than last year, when the figure was 6,846.
The majority of new Master's students from EEA countries come from Germany, Italy and Greece. From outside the EEA, the majority come from China, the United States and India.
