The Library is an inspiring meeting space, where you can study, collaborate and expand your network. A place to collect research information and data, make discoveries and develop your knowledge and skills.
A visit to the Library is therefore always an enriching experience!
For a quick overview of the Library's facilities you can consult the 2022-2023 Guide. It is available online, but you can also ask for a paper version at the library desks.
Of course, you can find the Library on the UvA student website. Here you will find a selection of information you will need during your studies, as well as news and events relating to your study programme. You will also find tips on finding academic literature and research data, information on free workshops, study spaces and the Online Study Space.
The Library also has its own website, uba.uva.nl. There you will find additional information on borrowing materials, searching for information and opening hours. Feel free to take a look.
On behalf of my colleagues at the Library, I would like to welcome you and wish you success in your studies.
Gerard Nijsten, Library Director
On the website of the Library you can find all the opening hours.
