Social camouflage, gender expression, and slut-shaming in autistic young adults:
Research focused on the intersection of stigma, stigma management, and social norms.
This survey study explores (1) whether autistic women get slut-shamed at all (spoiler: they do, and ADHD plays a role too), whether social camouflaging (or ‘masking) impacts how much they get slut-shamed, and (3) whether gender expression might moderate any potential relationship.
The main analysis is conducted through a moderation analysis.
