Do you feel a bit lost in the sea of search results in Google Scholar? Or are you not making progress in your research because you can't find the right sources?
You will learn how to search more efficiently with Google Scholar, and discover CataloguePlus. We will show you how to access publications that are not readily available and how to find and use the most relevant databases for your study, such as Historical Abstracts, Linguistics & Language Behavior Abstracts, MLA Bibliography and Philosopher's Index.

Upon successful completion of this module, you will be able to:
- effectively search and select information from a variety of sources;
- apply specific search strategies in different databases;
- handle information sources ethically and evaluate them critically.
There is also scope to get support in searching for information for your specific topic.
