Keynote - Olaf Sleijpen (President, De Nederlandsche Bank)

In his keynote, Olaf Sleijpen will share his views on the Draghi Report and on the scope for action available to the central bank in the current context of geopolitical uncertainty. The report makes clear that action is essential to strengthen the European economy - and that of the Netherlands in particular – and to enhance our competitiveness and innovative capacity.

Panel session 1 - Implications Draghi report and geopolitical developments

In this session, Jeroen Hinloopen, Professor of Industrial Organisation at the University of Amsterdam, will discuss the Draghi Report – one of the most influential economic reports of recent years. What does it mean for Europe, and what could its impact be on our economy? Join the session for a stimulating and thought-provoking exchange.

Panelists (amongst others):
Jeroen Hinloopen (deputy-director CPB and Professor Industrial Organisation)
David Schrager (Macro and Private Credit Investor)
Fons van Overbeek (Economist at the European Central Bank)
Fetullah Tutucu: (Risk Specialist ABN-AMRO)

Panel session 2 - AI, skills, roles, and the future of work

Speaker Henk Volberda (Professor Strategy & Innovation and Scientific Director of the Amsterdam Centre for Business Innovation) provides an academic vision on the world of tomorrow: how the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) changes our work, which skills and roles we will need, and to what extent the AI (r)evolution implies mostly a transition of roles versus a transition of skills. Is AI a threat, opportunity or a mix of both?

Panelists (amongst others):
Henk Volberda (Professor Strategy & Innovation and Scientific Director of the Amsterdam Centre for Business Innovation)
Eleni Georganta (Assistant Professor Work and Organizational Psychology)
Marco Rapp (Assistent Professor Digital Citizenship & People Analytics)
Edo Roos Lindgreen (Director EP and Professor of Data Science in Auditing)

Panel session 3 - Why (gender) diversity Is still not the norm in multinationals – A performance, talent, and reality check

Drawing on academic research and practical experience, this panel will explore how organisations can embed diversity as a strategic necessity – rather than as symbolic policy – to improve performance. What does this mean for students who are trying to find their place in the labour market? And what does it ask of organisations, leaders, and colleagues (both men and women) to truly make diversity the norm? Léonie Kennepohl (founder of Female X Finance) will share insights from companies where diversity is already the standard.

Panelists:
Léonie Kennepohl (founder Female X Finance)
Tanja Hentschel (Associate Professor Leadership & Management)
Soumia Akachar (UvA Central Diversity Officer)
Chrissy Welsh (VP Experience B2C at KPN)
