In this workshop, you will learn how to use Zotero, a citation manager supported by the University of Amsterdam. Zotero allows you to collect references and automatically insert bibliographical references into your texts. The workshop is aimed at students, lecturers and researchers at the University of Amsterdam.

Do you want to keep track of your references? ZoteroExternal link is a citation manager that makes it very easy to build up your own collection of references and to create citations and bibliographies.

This workshop is an introduction, intended for those who are new to Zotero. Upon successful completion of this module, you will be able to:

  • save reference details in your personal Zotero library;
  • cite references consistently when writing publications, using your personal Zotero file; and
  • create groups to collaborate.

Practical exercises and demonstrations will be interspersed throughout the course.
