Treatment dropout is a persistent concern in forensic outpatient care, yet its predictors are still not well understood. This study explored whether neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs), such as ADHD or ASD, predict treatment dropout, and whether limitations in problem awareness (PA) and illness insight (II) play a mediating role.
